This is a great example of how wedding photos are call backs to memories. The reason I can say this is that’s how I was affected by these photos. I have great memories of Tiffany & Nate’s wedding & to be honest I’d forgotten much of it before working on their photos. Instantly the memories came back as I worked my way through. I love that. It’s another reminder that weddings are all about the moments that happen, therefore good photography should be as well.
The day began in Edmonds & we had the first look at a park next to the water before we headed to the Washington Cathedral for the ceremony. After that we made our way to the Blue Ribbon Cooking School where my good friend Ray DJ’d an amazing party that saw the dance floor full from the first song to the last.
I like to brag that I bring good luck, weather wise, to western Washington when I’m there for a wedding. This is yet another example of a wedding where the wedding was preceded by a week of rain & succeeded by more bad weather. Granted, there was a little rain during the reception, but by then we were all inside. It even cleared up in time for Tiffany & Nate to make their escape. Am I suggesting that western Washington brides should hire me if they’re worried about the weather? Absolutely.
Fun fact: There’s a photo of me in this post. I’m wearing a red & white checkered shirt. Where’s Matt?
