Pumped to share photos from Krystal & Taylor’s outdoor winter wedding at Elkins Resort on Priest Lake! Unique people make for unique weddings. And I’d say that anyone who wants a wedding outdoor in northern Idaho’s (almost) permafrost is, by definition, unique! The good news is that people who are willing to brave the wintry elements, are in for a treat when it comes to wedding photos!
They also had the smart idea of tweaking traditional wedding clothing so Krystal could bundle up in her red riding hood shawl and Taylor stayed plenty warm in his traditional Kaiser era-inspired German formal wear. Thankfully the cold lake breeze stayed away until after the ceremony was over because it felt like that dropped the temperature 20 degrees!
One thing the couple really wanted was a great winter portrait with the massive full moon in the background. Thankfully the clouds stayed away long enough to get that done!
Krystal & Taylor asked me to keep their ceremony photos private so I just get to post more portraits! :)
