A little while ago I was able to hang out with Kelli & Kevin and take some engagement photos. We started out along the beach of Discovery Park in seattle next to the West Point Lighthouse & used every bit of natural light before heading downtown. Once we got downtown, we of course headed to the famous Pike Place Market where I tried to do something a little different than the usual shot in front of the sign. Mission accomplished. The shot here is actually composed of about 40 different frames. We (or at least I) had fun running out between passing cars to get the shots we needed. Then we wandered down to Post Alley & played around for a little while.

The night closed with a trip to Seatown Snack Bar. I highly recommend the salmon roe.

Big thanks to Kelli & Kevin for sharing a great time. I’m thrilled with the results. Hopefully they are too. One thing’s for sure. I can’t wait for their wedding at the Georgetown Ballroom in Seattle.

Well, here it is. The last wedding to take place at the Spokane Museum of Arts & Culture (MAC). Unfortunately they’re not going to allow couples to rent it out anymore. But fortunately, I was able to shoot Danielle & Ryan’s wedding so at least it went out with a bang. :)

It was fun to be able to play around at a location that I’d been to before in a non-wedding capacity. I think it helps that almost everywhere I go I’m always on the lookout for interesting light or structures that would look good in the camera.

I had a great time with Danielle & Ryan & their family and friends the entire day. Even the things that didn’t “go right” (ahem, vows, ahem) didn’t dampen the day, but just added to the uniqueness & gives Danielle & Ryan a story to tell.

Enjoy the pictures & if you do, make sure you leave a comment. :)

A bit of  double post since I’m trying to get caught up on my blogging. Both these sessions were great. Not much more I can say about it than that. I think the pictures tell it better than I can. When Katie & Brady both start their modeling careers, they can say this was the start. :)

Alright, let’s try this again since my host, Bluehost (not recommended) went down & took this blog post down with it.

I’m thrilled to be able to post these photos from Sara & Matt’s Bellingham, Washington wedding. The girls started by getting ready at the beautiful Hotel Bellwether, then we headed downtown for pictures (& ice cream!!) before ending the day at the very cool Bellingham Cruise Terminal for the ceremony & reception. The reception was extra special because it was DJ’d by one of my best friends in the world, Ray Julich.

The day was amazing. I had such a great time hanging out with Sara, Matt, their friends, & family. Thanks again guys!
