• It seems to be doing just fine without me. :( so much for making it jealous & begging me to come back.
August 9, 2010

I had the pleasure of being able to photograph Betsy & Chad’s wedding at the amazing Red Barn Farms in Colton, WA.

The weather was beautiful. The bride was beautiful. The groom was beautiful handsome. The venue was perfect. What else could I ask for?

Not only was the bride gorgeous & terribly sweet, she basically designed most of the wedding. She has a future in wedding planning/designing. The table tops, hand made chandelier, candy, blue-dyed slip—all her doing. Also, what better place would there be to celebrate grandma’s birthday than a wedding with everybody in attendance.

I had an absolute blast (of which there’s evidence in these photos) & everybody else did too!

Big thanks to Ana Hopkins for lending me her photography skills for the day.

Matt, you’ve been putting out some killer work lately, but this…this is a whole new level. Absolutely killed it. I love this couple, love this wedding, love the details, love the way you chose to shoot it. Really well done.

  • Nice work. The sock shot made me smile. Also love the big drapy streamer things in the barn. That was a nice idea and added some flare to the barn.

Freakin’ amazing, Matt (and Ana)! Gorgeous couple, location, and details. You two knocked this one out of the park. Way to rock the tilt-shift. Hilarious with the bouquet toss. (noted)

  • Fantastic! I love your bold colors and you got such nice character and humor in these photos. The picture frame photos are neat.
