The IQ is 99% as good as the D3s. I have a grip for it too. It's comparable to the D3 in size with the grip on, but it's nice to be able to take the grip off and put on a 50mm for walk in the city. For the price of a new D3s, you can get a used D700 + grip + 24-70 and still have money left over. I prefer the sheer economy of the D700. The IQ is 99% as good as the D3s. I have a grip for it too.
